Park Play

Today we went and got some pizza then went to the park to play. Talmage has so much fun playing on the toys. He had so much fun on the swing. The sun was right in the way of taking pictures, so they stink. He threw a huge fit when it was time to go, but it made him so tired and he took a good nap when we got home.

This picture is for my uncle Mark!
Kyle sat on the swing and even though it wasnt the same type of swing it brought back memories that made me laugh, and since it has been quite a few years I thought you could laugh at it too!

(too bad Kyle couldn't get his legs in. we had a screwdriver in the car he could have posed for it!)

How We Watch Toy Story

Talmage has a thing for the laundry basket.
He watched most of Toy Story in it.
Some reason it doesn't look all that comfortable.

The New Lazy Boy Recliner

Last night for Family Home Evening we rented Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs and watched it in our room. Talmage likes to sit on the back of the couch and play with my head if we watch a movie during the day, but Daddy was the lucky one! After a while of playing with Kyle's head and hair Talmage propped his feet right on top of Kyle's head. Where he thought of this I am not sure, but he looks comfortable!

Gratitude

Since it is the week of Thanksgiving, I thought I would post each day about something I am grateful for.

One of my biggest blessings in life is my best friend and eternal companion. Kyle is one of the kindest people I know and has such a big heart. Surly he makes up for what I lack. I am so grateful for all the work he puts into our family. He is an amazing husband and I am lucky enough that he puts up with all my crap, hormones, and panic attacks. He is also the best dad, and I am so blessed that he is the father to my children. He loves Talmage so much and it is evident by the way he plays with him.

I am grateful he came into my life and though we have faced some big trials, I would want to face any of them with anyone else but Kyle at my side.
I don't show my love for him enough, and sometimes forget how huge his role in my life is, but I will always love him and count him as one of my biggest blessings.

Cell Phone Moments

A lot of times I take pictures on my phone since I dont take my camera with me everywhere. These pictures are from the last month or so.

Talmage trying on cowboy hats at walmart.

I came into the bathroom to find this. Apparently Kit Kat had to use the potty and Elmo Blanky joined him.

Talmage loves to sit on Kyle's motorcycle. He thinks he knows what he is doing and even does sound effects while he plays on it.

Upon coming home from the temple I found Talmage in our room asleep. He loves the baby toys a little too much.

I often ask Talmage is he is "Daddy's Buddy" he usually responds "No" but if I ask him is he is Daddy's Princess he screams "YES"

Talmages gets to help me do laundry, he helps switch it from the washer into the dryer and helps fold it too. On this particular day he decided that he would wear my bra. He even knew where it went!

This is one of my favorite pictures!
Kyle has taught Talmage that fires are hot and has even got him to warm his hand by the fire. Talmage looks up to him so much and enjoys helping daddy build the fire.

What A Helper!

Yesterday morning when Alexa was dropped off Talmage got so excited to see her and went right to her side to talk and play with her. When it came time for her to eat, Kyle held her while I got her bottle ready. When I was getting her Talmage tried to pick her up, so we positioned her in between his legs and he "held" her and fed her the bottle. He acted to big and would take it out every once and a while to shake it up.

He is going to be such a good big brother!

Tub Time

Since we don't have an actual bathtub, Talmage is stuck with taking showers, so when we go to visit my parents he is more the happy to play in the tub. He has so much fun and never wants to get out. He was playing with some markers and colored all over himself, so when he got into the tub the water was a see through orange. The joys of having children!

Oh Christmas Tree

While at my moms house this weekend we set up her HUGE tree. Something I have had part in since well forever. I didn't want to miss it this year since we won't be there for Thanksgiving.

Talmage was a terd and wouldn't leave it alone. Luckily after a while it became old and he did leave it along. He liked laying in the chair and looking at it.
My sisters, Faith and Gabby helping decorate the tree.
Talmage coloring, since he wouldn't leave it alone
The tree all decorated! I think it looks so beautiful!
Now I just need to convince Kyle to get all my Christmas stuff out of storage so I can decorate at least one tree!

Watching the Rain

All day Saturday we had wonderful weather. In my opinion anyways. Talmage was really crabby so I put him on the desk (yes the one that he tried to escape from the window on) with the window slightly open to watch the rain. He and kit kat spent a while there eating gold fish and enjoying the rain together.

To Infinity and Beyond!

Last night we let Talmage pick out a move to watch before bed. He went trough the dvd case two times and finally decided on Toy Story. He absolutely loves this movie. In fact he sat through the whole movie with maybe 3 times to get up and get his toys.
